Today's dish is Fillets of Seabass with an Asian twist. It’s G/F and very low-calorie.
The even better news is that once you have cranked up the oven to 200cen, the prep & cooking takes all of 12 minutes. That’s what we like.
FILLETS OF SEABASS WITH AN ASIAN TWIST
3 fillets of Seabass
2 tablespoons sesame oil.
1 red chilli finely chopped.
2 tablespoons dark soy sauce.
4 tablespoons honey.
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.
2 cloves of garlic, peeled & chopped.
Juice of 1/2 lime.
1/2 teaspoon cornflour.
2 teaspoon brown sugar.
To garnish- chopped scallions & chilli & lime slices.
1. Into a bowl pop the first 7 ingredients and give everything a good stir.
2. Place the Seabass fillets on a gratin dish.
3. Sprinkle over the cornflour & then pour the glaze over. Lastly sprinkle with the brown sugar.
4.Pop into hot oven, remove after 4 minutes & baste with the glaze. Cook for a further 4 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven, place on presentation plate & garnish with chopped scallions & chilli. Some limes on the side are good.
